Joe Kurnos has been a licensed, professional REALTOR® since 1985 specializing in the sales and marketing of homes throughout Northern Virginia and Maryland. Joe has sold well over $300M since 2000. The majority of Joe's business comes from friends and referrals, a tribute to the service he provides!

Joe is licensed in Virginia and Maryland and is a member of the Dulles Area Association of REALTORS®, Greater Capital Area Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®.  These associations uphold a strict code of ethics and ensure that their members are up to date on the latest marketing techniques and legislation affecting real estate. Joe's career accomplishment and outstanding performance has placed him in the RE/MAX Hall of Fame, RE/MAX Chairman's Club, RE/MAX Platinum Club, and the Dulles Area Association of Realtors (DAAR) Top Producer Club. Joe is also a DAAR Platinum Production recipient and has been previously recognized by DAAR as the # 2 Top Individual Producer in the Association.

In 2008, Joe founded Castle Property Management.  This line of business has served hundreds of homeowners that required assistance in renting and managing their properties.  In 2025, after 27 years with RE/MAX, Joe founded Castle Distinctive Properties.  The company maintains a small number of experienced agents that are well rounded and have diverse capabilities to handle all client's real estate needs.
